1. Verifying Access to the Cargus Service
Before connecting the Cargus service in eTrack, verify your access credentials:
Log in to the Cargus WebExpress platform and make sure your Username and Password are correct.
Check your contract with Cargus to confirm the existence of a Subscription Key.
If the Subscription Key is not available or the user is not active in the API:
- Contact your Cargus account representative
- Request the Subscription Key
- Request API user activation
2. Configuring the Cargus Service in eTrack
Navigate to: eTrack > Profile > Connected Services > Connect a new service > Shipping labels > Cargus
Step 1: Enter Credentials
Fill in:

- Connection denied – credentials are incorrect or the user is not active in the API.
Recommendations:
- Verify API user activation with your Cargus representative
- Re-enter credentials manually (avoid extra spaces from copy–paste)
- Save settings again
4. eTrack-Specific Settings
Service Name
Represents the label under which the service appears in eTrack.
It is recommended to match the courier service name used in Shopify.
This enables automatic courier selection during AWB generation based on the customer’s chosen option.
Service Status
- ON – you can generate Cargus AWBs
- OFF – the service will not appear in the document generation window
5. Cargus Fixed Pick-up Points – Ship & Go
To display the Cargus Ship & Go map widget on your website, follow the dedicated configuration steps in the specific documentation.
6. Generating Transport Documents
For individual AWB generation, follow the standard document generation steps.
For BULK generation, use the dedicated multiple-document workflow.
7. Managing Multiple Pick-up Locations
If you ship from multiple locations, additional configuration is required.
Step 1: Define Locations in Shopify
Shopify > Settings > Locations (e.g., Address 1, Address 2, … Address 5)
Step 2: Assign Products to Locations
Products must be assigned in Shopify exactly according to the physical stock in each location.
Step 3: Update eTrack
Close and reopen eTrack from Shopify > Apps.
Navigate to: eTrack > Profile > Your account > Fulfillment location
Enable the address selector and save.
Step 4: Configure Multiple Cargus Connectors
Create one Cargus connector per location using the same credentials.
Specific Settings:
- Pick-up location – select the correct location
- Service name – Cargus – [Location Name]
- Save each connector
Example:
- Cargus – Address 1
- Cargus – Address 2
- …
- Cargus – Address 5
When generating the AWB, in the Courier step, select the corresponding pick-up location.
8. Important Rules
- An AWB can be generated only for products assigned to a single location.
- An AWB cannot be generated if products in the order are assigned to different locations.
